Production Notes: How do you make one back yard look like many very distinct locations. By finding a large ranch residence complete with a pool, tree house and small pond. Then we sourced a near by residence where we could grab a quick satellite scene to convey a greater sense of variety. That allowed us to convert our tech scout into a half day shoot. There were a few other challenges as well. Kids, a dog and a few night scenes with a neighborhood curfew limit. This one worked because our team was tight. Our trusted casting partner utilized their network of real people and hired family and friends. People that have history together make the entire process more fluid. The client was also special, they allowed us to do our work at pace and trusted us the entire time.
