Brawny "Chili"

Director: Harold Einstein

Production Company: Dummy

Role: Agency Producer

Location: LA Studio Lot

Production Notes: Harold pushed to create these custom sets on a sound stage so he can curate every last minute detail. It also allowed us to determine the best camera stand off distance from talent so the giant could be integrated in post with limited distortion. This was one of those productions were resets were often and each and every take was important to get right. The talent were skilled as we involved Harold early on and used his preferred casting agent. This is the ideal scenario when the director is so engaged he wants to be involved in every aspect to ensure success. But gracious enough to bring you along as a collaborator. He often allowed myself and the ECD to huddle next to camera. A great experience all around working with a real craftsman. What you would expect when bringing a commercial icon back to life.
