Production Notes: The hardest part of this project was actually getting all three pro athletes in the same room at the same time. Moral here is you just need to stay flexible. First location was around the ESPY’s in LA, then it moved again and finally landed in Houston where Adrain was located at the time. Close enough for Derek and BJ to fly in and attend the shoot. This was a simple idea but required perfection as the lighting needed to match exactly for each scene. The photographer shot both stills and video of these athletes, maximizing coverage and creating a consistency of looks across media. Multiples of the cloak were created to ensure the seamstress could tailor a custom fit on set. Lastly, how do you say kills, without saying kills.
