Production notes: Welcome to the Navajo or rather Diné reservation in the magnificent southwest. Brandon and his generational family were kind enough to grant us access to these sacred lands along the Colorado river. Our production team was comprised of more than half of Diné crew. They graciously steered us away from the trappings of popular social media landscapes and shared the beauty of the land from their eyes. His father brought the horses, his brother ran along side and his mother granted us access to the sacred hut where his ancestors used to live. Every morning they would rise early to greet the creator. We battled rain, wind, snow and long drives off road to tell his story. Well worth it to capture this land in its natural setting.
